Parkway-Kew Corp. offers a full range of the latest hard surfacing options including sub-arc welding, HVOF (High Velocity Oxygen Fuel), thermal spray, plasma spray, and metallizing. The engineering department can suggest alloys for your specific wear or corrosion resistance problem and the appropriate hard surfacing method of application. A wide variety of materials can be applied to include tungsten Carbide, Ceramics, Chrome oxide, Stainless, aluminum and zinc. In our CNC machining, milling and grinding departments, parts can be fabricated and prepared for the hard surfacing treatment and finished to your specifications. Our grinding capabilities are up to 65" in diameter and 12' long and our machining capabilities extend up to 72" in diameter.
Kew Engineering was founded in 1952 on the strength of an order to rebuild and hard surface one hundred 26" diameter Vaughn wiredrawing blocks for CF&I, Roebling, NJ. In 1953 Kew Engineering combined with Parkway Welding, a company primarily focused on hard surfacing and rebuilding earth-moving equipment, to form Parkway-Kew Corp. After outgrowing four separate facilities, Parkway- Kew Corp. moved into its current location in North Brunswick, NJ in November 1999.
