Parkway-Kew Advanced Thermal Spray Coatings

Parkway-Kew Corp. believes the most cost effective way to hardsurface wire drawing blocks or capstans is to put the hardsurfacing on the substrate as thick as possible thus allowing numerous regrinds. We feel the most cost effective procedure is to pay a little more for the initial hardsurfacing and then benefit from low cost, long lasting regrinds.

To this end, Parkway-Kew has engineered its coatings to be applied thicker per side than any of our competitors. A partial list:

1. PK-503 (high chrome sub arc alloy) ---------------------------------- .125" per side finished
2. PK-200 (low chrome sub arc alloy}------------------------------------ .125" per side finished
3. PK-800 (Predominantly Tungsten carbide HVOF coating)---- .050" per side finished
4. PK-700 (Tungsten carbide blend HVOF coating)----------------- .080" per side finished
5. PK-920 (Nickel, Chrome, Boron Alloy HVOF coating----------- .080" per side finished
6. PK-1500 (Ceramic Plasma spray coating)-------------------------- .040" per side finished
7. PK-400 (arc spray metallizing)------------------------------------------ .100" per side finished
